What is Residential Assisted Living?

A regular house on a regular street, state licensed, where a small number of seniors live together and are cared for around the clock by trained caregivers.

Texas licenses these homes for 6 to 16 residents.

Above that, a home has to be a commercial building, which is why these stay in neighborhoods.

Meals, bathing and dressing, medications, laundry, and someone in the house every minute of every day and night.

This is private pay care, usually for one monthly price.

Most often $3,200 to $5,800 a month in Montgomery County and the surrounding area.

Memory care is an additional $700 to $1,500, because it requires more caregivers, and caregivers trained for memory loss.

A Trusted Resource for Seniors & Families

I represent you

Care homes have a room to fill. I do not. I serve your interest, not theirs. The only match I am making is between the care a home can give and the care your senior needs.

I check, you choose

I start with what your senior actually needs, then research which homes can genuinely provide that level of care. You get a short list instead of weeks of searching.

You are my client, Not a Lead

One form on a national site and a dozen homes start calling. Not here. Your information stays with me. No call centers, no barrage of sales calls.

You’re Not Alone in This Journey

If you are wondering whether it is still safe for a senior to live alone, or searching for 24 hour care options for yourself or a family member, you may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or even guilty about what the right next step should be.

The questions usually start here:

  • Is it still safe to be at home alone?
  • What happens if the memory loss keeps getting worse?
  • We brought help into the home, and it is not enough anymore.
  • I have been giving the care myself and I cannot keep going.
  • Is this assisted living, memory care, or something else?
  • Where do I even begin?

If any of this sounds like your situation, you are in the right place.
